WEDDING officiant
I am an ordained minister, legally permitted to perform and solemnize marriages in the state of Colorado. I am pleased to provide a caring and professional celebrant service for legal marriages, vow renewals, same-sex weddings and commitment ceremonies.
Each ceremony is as special as the couple it is for. You can select a standard civil or secular, or non-denominational Christian service, or choose to personalise your service. For custom ceremonies, you choose how simple or elaborate you want your ceremony to be, and I will design a ceremony to suit your needs and include all the elements that will make your wedding perfect for you.
I will happily travel to perform ceremonies at the location of your choice - a backyard, at a chapel or hotel, a mountain meadow, or up in a hot air balloon!
To learn more, please visit the Ceremonies page for information about the types of ceremonies I perform, or the About page for more information about me.
"You were wonderful! Thank you so much for being such an integral part of our marriage celebration. We were so blessed to have found such amazing vendors and people to celebrate with! You made it so easy, enjoyable, and special!"

There is no legal requirement to have pre-marital coaching or complete a course or take a class on marriage in the state of Colorado.
I do, however, believe that an open and frank discussion before making such an important and lifelong commitment is very important. Many people enter that commitment by thinking about a "wedding" and not so much about a "marriage".
There are many elements that go into forming a successful partnership for life, and understanding your potential spouse or life partner's attitudes, values and expectations, and examining your own in relation to them can lay the foundation for an honest and supportive relationship.
Some of the issues couples can discuss in pre-marital coaching include...
  • What are your expectations of your relationship and your partner?
  • What are your goals for your relationship?
  • What are your religious or spiritual differences or similarities?
  • How do you both feel about having and raising children?
  • What are your attitudes to money? This is perhaps the biggest argument issue in marriages today.
  • What are your rules about arguing?
  • What roles will each of you take in the relationship?
  • How do you view your partner, and how do they view you?
  • Are your families supportive of your relationship and how will that affect your future together?
My wish is for each couple to have a long, happy, and successful marriage. I am always available to discuss your concerns or feelings about your relationship.

Funerals and memorials are rituals to help the living deal with the passing of a loved one. I conduct services based on the requests and needs of both the deceased and the family and friends left behind, in accordance with their wishes.
Funerals and memorial services can be conducted with love and respect for all, and take the format of truly secular, non-denominational Christian, or spiritual services. I am available for services at the graveside, at funeral parlours, crematoriums and in private homes. Please visit the Funerals & Memorials page to learn more...

My ministry is simple, and follows the guiding principle of the Universal Life Church - "Do what is right". Whatever your beliefs, you will find in me a caring ear and a confidential discussion.
I hold dear the wisdom in all religions - Christian, Judaism, Pagan, Wicca, Islam, Buddhism, Spirituality, Humanism, native and ancient religions. I adhere to the belief in a Universal Spirit, and respect for the Earth.

I am happy to travel to your location for your ceremony. There are many beautiful sites in and around Denver, Boulder and the Rocky Mountains to hold your wedding. Many ceremonies are being held in homes and gardens, parks, beaches, hotels and resorts, even amusement parks! Wherever you wish to express your vows, I can be there to perform a beautiful ceremony for you.
There are no additional travel charges if your ceremony takes place within the greater Denver/Boulder metro areas, as outlined on the map.
For locations outside this area, travel charges do apply at $2 per mile. For locations more than 2 hours' drive, you may need to provide accommodation, and per diem fees may apply. I am also willing to perform ceremonies at destination weddings if travel and accommodations are provided in addition to ceremony fees.

It is a good idea to book your wedding officiant as early as possible, especially during 'wedding season' from April to October, or on popular dates such as Valentines Day, 1/8/18 or 8/1/18, or other memorable dates! Celebrants can be booked several months out, and if you have a ceremony that requires a rehearsal, you may need to verify your officiant is available for both the rehearsal and the ceremony dates.
